The first night we had dinner on a cliff overlooking the ocean in an open air restaurant at the top of the resort. On Saturday, we had a chance to just relax and hang out on the beach. Our view to the front of us was the crystal clear, blue-green water of the Gulf of Siam with island mountains scattered in the distance. Looking above us where the resort bungalows nestled in the side of the mountain. It was such a perfectly serene spot to enjoy some much needed relaxation time.

Koh Samui
As sad as it was to leave our tented camp at the Golden Triangle, we have moved on to an amazing new bungalow overlooking the Gulf of Siam on an island off of the coast of Thailand. We landed in Koh Samui after a full day of traveling and were met again with phenomenal service and a picture perfect view. It's impossible not to love Thailand and the Thai people when I am presented with fresh flowers and breathtaking views everywhere we go! As different as the scenery and the accommodations were from the Golden Triangle, we found the Four Seasons in Koh Samiu equally as fabulous. The staff hit it off immediately with me when they called the room and asked to speak to "Mr. Glaser!"

While in Koh Samui we hiked, kayaked, played tennis, went to the spa, went island hopping on a private boat trip, had an authentic Thai barbecue on the beach and ventured out into the town on the last night. We even got to listen to the LSU game on Sunday morning at 6 a.m. sitting by our private infinity pool overlooking the gulf (see first picture below.) When first arriving and looking at the list of activities, I wanted to play in the beach volleyball tournament while Jason wanted to have martinis and manicures at the beach. He even had to laugh at that! We definitely keep each other entertained!
